Maja discovered these original Chanel printing proofs in Les Puces flea market in Paris. The screen print is the final proof where the printer and designer can make adjustments before the scarfs go into production. These are very rare and a real challenge to find, true works of art. Each piece has handwritten color and printing notes on the boarder of each printing proof.
Printed in rich turquoise on thick woven paper.
Dimensions: W 43" x H 38"
Circa: 1960s to 1970s
These are unframed but we will work with our framer for you. We recommend the proof to be archivally float mounted in a custom acrylic shadow box frame, allowing the handwritten printing details to be visible.
